the stage is the center of the universe
the best and worst place on earth
the stage can make you or break
the stage is the single most desirable spot
one must run from it as far as one can
if one is unworthy to go up
one must vanish from its presence
the stage is where people like me belong
the stage is my throne
i will declare all my nonsense and humiliate myself there
i want to be on the stage
because on that evening
that very moment i am meant to be up there
if i know i would die there i would still gladly go
because on that evening

i know i would survive the stage
if i was born to go up there it would be tragic
but i was born to go up there to go down alive
i was born to live for this moment
i can only look at it this way
after 3 years i will go up a stage again to perform for an hour- a full concert program. i never thought i would dare to do this again at least going up there. the last time i was alone. it was a rough start but it went well afterwards. the last time i played i wasnt a christian yet. i went there all by myself. for the longest time there are things in my life i cannot make much sense of. if there is one reason i am doing this… it is the same reason i do everything else.
