The Gift
The Gift
(A Gospel Tract)
There is a gift that nobody wants but everyone needs. And only a few will realize they need it and receive it even some have already received it. This gift is so precious it is bought by the sacrifice of a perfect life. A blameless man paid for it from God, he paid for it with all His blood. It is a gift that will make anyone who receives it, to live forever.
It is a gift that will give anyone who receives it, access in the heavenly realms, a VIP pass into the throne room of God, an eternal Residence Permit in paradise, a celestial citizenship. Whoever receives this gift will see an unimaginable change in his life. He will experience a change in his heart that he can never comprehend. And peace of mind that noone and nothing else can give or take away. Some who received it were so evil before they received it. They were former murderers, robbers, liars, rapists, drug addicts, sodomists and many others. The kind of people most would think are not worthy to live. Yet they received it and their lives were changed forever. They were given a new heart, a heart with new desires to please and serve God and love all of mankind. They instantly sought the forgiveness of those whom they have hurt or abused. They were never the same.
Truly, there are a greater number of people in this earth that will not receive this gift. They dont even want to touch it much less go near it, though it is a supernatural gift. It has no physical weight or mass. One may asked why? Why would anybody reject such a gift? Unfortunately many won’t be even bothered to ask this question. Many would reason “I don’t think I need it, I have a perfect life”. “I have a beautiful career, a loving wife and lovely children, I have 8 cars and 3 houses”. “I am an elder in the church” “I go to the mosque” “I say my prayers”, “I worship in the temple”. “I give money to the poor”. It doesnt matter what you do or what you think you have, its either you have this gift or you dont. Many would think this way counting themselves “good enough” and “sinless” but God declared that Sin is Sin even if noone sees it. God said in judgement day you can be convicted of murder or adultery even if you only did it in your mind and heart (Matthew 5:21-28).
While others reason with their own moral standards, some would even go as far as saying “I don’t even think there is Heaven or Hell and God so why would I need this?”. If you dear reader feels exactly this way, I respectfully ask you to stop here and go on with your happy life. This short message is written specifically for certain people who would receive it. I totally agree with you if you believe you dont need this gift. Who am I to tell you to see a doctor if you feel in yourself that you are perfectly healthy?(Mark 2:17)
To you who would continue from here I can say THEY are happy with who and what they are. Thats why this gift is only given to the desperate and to those who acknowledge they need it. Although in the last day those who did not receive it will be the ones who are desperate. (if you feel offended with this, you shouldnt, because this is not written for you. You were supposed to have walked away earlier) Because this gift is so powerful it will keep your soul for eternal salvation if you treasure this in your heart for the rest of your life(1 Corinthians 15:2). This gift may sound so absurd to those who don’t believe they need it. Yet, sounds so sweet to the recipients of it (1 Corinthians 1:18). It may also sound so opposite to everything you have ever believed. I must warn you though, that this gift is so demanding. You can only receive it with empty hands. With empty pockets. You must consider all your earthly treasures dismissible and worthless if this gift would give you that conviction. You must consider this gift your only means for salvation and count all your self-righteous deeds (Isaiah 64:6) dung for there is only one righteous standard in Heaven. You must make this gift your most precious possession though it cannot be bought with any amount of money nor can it be kept in a bank or a safe. It can be kept safely inside your heart. If you think you can be good and religious with your own strength, you can still walk away from this gift. I have warned you enough. You must consider this gift your new reason to live. And you must believe in the power of this gift. Whatever you do in life you must consider your work in light of the ideals of this gift. Some of you may hesitate saying “Im so comfortable with my lying and my cheating, but I also want to be good and receive this gift”. I must tell you that that desire to be good is enough to start with. In fact this gift may have been so real to you now you realized you have no power in yourself to be good. This gift is offered to you and these words are written directly to you who acknowledge your own depravity. God has spoken to you many nights ago when you asked yourself “Why am I here?”. God is silent all these years until you asked the right question. Listen carefully now. This is the gift, the answer to your question.
You are here because God made you. You were meant to live in Gods eternal fellowship in Heaven. But you have sinned just as your parents Adam and Eve did. Therefore there is only one thing you rightfully deserve, that is “to be separated from God”. In Gods holy fellowship in Heaven, there is no sin. Therefore you have been separated from Him and would have remained in such a state unless you will receive this gift that I have been telling you about all this time. If your physical body dies without receiving this gift you will spend eternity in that place that your conscience have warned you about. (Those who have turned away from this gift have denied the voice of their conscience a long time ago although it still haunts them in their sleep once in a while I do not claim to know what will happen to them). And eternity is not shorter than a week or a month or even a thousand years. If you physically die without this gift in you, you will die spiritually. And spiritual death is the true death, it is the eternal dying (Romans 6:23a). An experience of dying without end. Dying as most people imagined must have been the most painful experience ever. It is probably true. But it is also true that there is a place where this will happen. In hell (Revelations 20:10).
God loves you so much that He brought you to this time and place to receive His gift so you will not go THERE in the place of separation. That place is where justice of God is not satisfied though it is eternally executed. The HOLY God cannot be Holy if he do not pursue justice. If he allow a murderer to go away happy and free from any punishment, He is not just therefore, not Holy. But God is just. God is also Love. Because of this the gift came. And He sent His only Son Jesus Christ to be born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18-25, Isaiah 7:14). To walk on earth as a human being (though He is the same as God John 1:1) and live a perfect blameless life. (Isaiah 53:9, 2 Cor 5:21) Flawless in Gods standard. He is the only one who accomplished the perfect righteousness that God would allow in Heaven(Matthew 5:17). He was crucified to satisfy once and for all, the just punishment of God (Hebrews 10:10,14,Isaiah 53:10, ). He died there hanging on the cross. The cross where love and justice met. The wrath was satisfied there. Whoever sins and go there will receive full pardon, for the one who died there paid their debt(Matthew 20:28). The due punishment of sin for anyone who seeks this forgiveness through His death is already been paid for by Jesus Himself (1 John 2:2). The very righteousness of Christ was imputed on Him (Isaiah 53:9, 2 Cor 5:21). Jesus became their substitute to receive Gods judgment in their behalf (Gal 2:20). In exchange Jesus gave them HIS righteousness. Jesus satisfied Gods justice for all your sins, you who go to Him and believe this. You who sees Him hanging on the cross before you bleeding with all His blood for your sake (Matthew 26:28). Receive His gift for you. You who kneel and say “I believe you paid it all for me Lord Jesus my Saviour, I am sorry for all my sins, I will follow you for the rest of my life. Come and live in me”. You will live for eternity in heaven just as Jesus lives for all eternity in heaven (John 5:24, Acts 1:1-10). For when He died on that cross He rose again after three days (Matthew 16:21, John 20) and He lives forevermore in Heaven and in the hearts of all He has redeemed (Matthew 28:20). His sacrifice is more satisfying to God than the eternal flames of hell. And you will know this is all true when you wake up tomorrow and realize that you are alive, you have life - eternal life.
Many would think that Heaven or Eternal life is rewarded to those who are good. But Jesus said there is only one good and that is God (Matthew 19:17, Romans 3:23). Even Paul said if we can attain righteousness by our good deeds then Jesus died for nothing (Galatians 2:21). Thats why eternal life is a gift from God because none of us can ever be good enough to make it to heaven. And you will know you received that gift when tomorrow you wake up to a new day and you discover a hunger for Gods word and you seek to be with people with the same desires. And you will know you received this when you start doing good things and you start loving people, not because you want to become righteous but because you know in yourself you have been declared righteous and the desires of your heart testify to it (Ezekiel 11:19, Jeremiah 31:33). And you will know you have the gift when you feel sin and temptation which you used to lovingly welcome (Romans 6:20-22, 6:17-18), starts to stir up your soul for the presence of the Lord-The Holy Spirit is grieving within (Ephesians 4:30). And you will know you had received this gift that nobody wants but everybody needs, when you wake up twenty or thirty years from now having that same desire in your heart to follow Jesus and live for Him (2 Corinthians 5:15) and see the worldly treasures and pleasures, worthless and vain, Jesus is all you need. The gift is the Good News, “God sent Jesus to die for your sins. He paid your punishment in full. He has risen from the dead and is alive for all eternity. He promised that if you believe this, He will live in you and change your life and give you a new heart to love God and live holy here and now and in Heaven for eternity.”. The Gift is the Lordship and the Saving Work of Jesus Christ that you can receive or may have received in your heart now.
-Read the Bible by starting with the Gospel of John
-Pray and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit to guide you to the right church to have fellowship with and grow as a new creation in Christ.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life
-John 3:16.
I know why I am here and where I am going
The greeks say “know thyself”, I guess it still justifies to phrase it as “know the reason for your existence”. We can know who we are at a certain point in time but we are not that same person at all times. I was a student before but now I’m a teacher. Three years ago I was just a son, then I also became a husband and eventually a father. These are all my temporal identities, each one of them that were lasted for a second. I believe we’ll know who we really are when we are at our deathbed. Whether theres eternity or not (though I believe there is) our last words will define the life and the person that we are. My music teacher used to say “your performance is only as good as your ending.” In one way or another it also applies in life.
I have heard stories of people dying in agony and struggle, terrified as if the door of hell is widely open before their eyes ready to devour them. I have also heard stories of people dying with the most peaceful smile on their faces as if they are going home to a home other than his loved ones. I believe these people have known themselves. They didnt come back but they gave us an idea about two different ways to die (or to live) or probably gave us a hint of the reality of two contrasting worlds more real than anything that we see now. However I wanted to share the “last words” of the one man who knew Himself from the beginning of His life.
When they came to the place called the Skull, there they crucified him, along with the criminals– one on his right, the other on his left. Jesus said, ” Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing. ” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots. -Luke 23:33-34
The good thing about Jesus is that these last words were just part of His mission and His mission didn’t end in His death. Jesus was bruised and beaten and killed hanging on a cross under the hands of the religious rulers of that day. Out of great envy and out Jesus’ harsh (but truthful) criticism of their religious hypocrisy, they accused Him of blasphemy. I guess it is a normal reaction for someone who claimed to be God. How can a man be God? I dont even know the answer to that but one thing I know. I know Him as my God even if I dont know Him as a man (that is, I havent spoken to Him or see Him in the flesh). In His days as a man (he’s perfectly human in their eyes) as He walked in the flesh among men He healed the sick(Matthew 12:15), open the eyes of the blind (Matthew 15:31) and raised the dead back to life (Luke 7:11-14; John 11:38-44). Once while claiming to have authority to forgive sins, His critics blurted “How can a man say that? Only God can forgive sins (Matthew 9:1-7)”. He didnt just claimed by words but He performed miracles. He didnt just claim authority by dead words but with His words that even the dead obey. Yet the religious leaders would not believe Him for they envy Him and He gained great popularity in the common people. Until finally they crucified Him. He was without sin (John 8:46; Isa 53:9) as all of scripture testified but they crucified Him as someone guilty of a grave crime. And in this moment of suffering He claimed for Himself all their accusations. For He said repeatedly beforehand “this is the reason I came, to die for the sins of men (Matthew 20:28b)”. And He said “Father forgive them, they know not what they do”. For someone dying a gruesome death and hearing this prayer for His enemies is impossible and is beyond any human understanding. But Jesus knows who He is. And He knows that His suffering and death is a ransom prepared for everyone who will accept it (John 3:16; John 1:12; 2 Cor 5:21). And He knows that He will rise again (Luke 9:22) to live for all eternity and He did rise again(Matthew 28; John 21) and He is alive forever (Hebrews 7:24) as proof of His claim for all who believe in Him.
John 5:24 ” I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.
John 11:25 Jesus said to her, ” I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;
Jesus prayed for His enemies because He knew one day His enemies, the same persons who had Him crucified will be given a choice. “To ACCEPT the payment He made for all their sins as He died on that cross or to REJECT it”. Theres no way anyone can reason (or would bother to reason) with it for its absurdity - a Holy One dying in the place of Sinful one. But that is the Gospel that Jesus commanded to be “preached to all creation (Mark 16:15)”. And the Gospel is meant to be taken for what it is. For this reason He repeatedly preached “be like little children (Mark 10:15; Luke 18:17)”. If we claim to be “grown men” or “wise men” we will not believe any of this. If you say “I wasn’t born yesterday” then you have to be born again (John 3:7) today by Gods grace.
As a music teacher I saw many professional students -like doctors or engineers - who tried playing an instrument for the first time, find it hard to believe that their playing nursery rhymes or plain themes and melodies at their initial lessons almost thinking its a joke. Because of this and only a few of them really endure the rudimentary lessons. In the same way Jesus said “Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 18:3)”. It is impossible for “wise men”, “intellectuals”, or “the learned ones” to instantly accept this. For a while I am thankful I didn’t read too much as a non-believer. And in His grace he brought me to a helpless place, a place totally abandoned where I know noone else can hear me but Him. And I believe God uses circumstances like this to convert us to be child like. I was a little child there and I believed. And I felt the love of a Father, The One True Father of us all. Most of us say out of wishful thinking say “I wish I was a child again, carefree and innocent” to avoid responsibilities. I we really want to be child again we can be a child forever if we acknowledge our Heavenly Father. Why aren’t we willing to wish the same to find the meaning of life? I believe I have found it when I cried out to Him and He saved me and told me to follow Him. And its been 3 years now since I began following Him and I can say that it is worth following someone like Him for there is noone else like Him.
Someone may argue, “Well I found the meaning of my life in my spouse”. Well how long will you be together? Or How long will you both live? Another would say “I am fulfilled by my Villa and my 2 ferraris and my private jet”. Really?
I know by child-like faith He will keep my by His side(John10:27-29). I know by child-like faith He will discipline me when I’m wrong(Hebrews 12:7), He will restore me when I fall(1 John1:8-9). By child-like faith I will hold on to His promise that “If I remain in Him, He will remain in me (John 15:4)”
It is impossible for grown, wise men to be like little children again for Gods sake. But if this message touched your hearts then the previous statement is wrong. Cry out to God for your own sake. And He will meet you and change you. And its not just about knowing the meaning of life, its the greatest thing that can ever happen to anyone. How can I say this? You have to see for yourself. Claim Him, believe Him and you will know what I mean. I know exactly who I am because I know whom I believed (2 Timothy 1:12) And you too can know who you really are for all eternity.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life - John 3:16
Conversation with a Oneness Pentecostal
Between OneGod JesusChrist and You
Richard Marcelo April 9 at 2:37am Brother I dont have time to debate with you. Theology is not my Idol. Jesus is my Lord. All of your denial about the Father doesnt make sense in all the verses the Jesus spoke about “His Father” About “Our God” and “His God”. Maybe it doesnt make sense to you also that I believe there is three and these three are one. Jesus speaks as the Father(Luke 13:34), Jesus speaks as the Son(John 12:28). If you cant believe that the more I couldnt believe that Jesus was speaking to Himself, and praying to Himself all the time(John 17). My greek equivalent of “God’ in Acts 7:55 does not say power but GOD (Theos), if you meant to parallel it with the way Jesus used it in Matthew 26:64 when he used “dunamis” which means power. So it doesnt work. You cant twist Gods word for your own pleasure.
When I worship Jesus Christ I know I worship the one true God (I hope youre happy) You’re free to call my belief in whatever you like I will not take it against you. But I will not think other than how Jesus refer to the Father.
To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. Rom 1:7
That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Rom15:6
Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Cor 1:3
yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all. 1 Cor 8:6
and theres so much more to quote.
You would have to rewite all of Pauls greetings to prove your point brother. You have to deny that Jesus was also called “Mediator”. “Intercessor” , “High Priest”.
I call Him my Lord and My God. My High Priest. My Mediator. My Saviour. Amen .
OneGod JesusChrist April 9 at 6:17pm Sorry Brother. You are confused. I don’t deal and say AMEN to your non sense belief. YOU HAVE TWO gods and that is your point. Anyways, If there is a Father and Son and both of them are seperate beings.. You are a big liar and make no sense. I don’t entertain debate. Search the scriptures. You are indeed a Catholic dogmatic believer. If you don’t believe that JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONE TRUE GOD, YOU WILL DIE IN YOUR SINS John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
I’m not for debating. Sayang ang faith mo. You don’t know the scripture. Bulag ang mga taong naniniwala sa doctrine ng diablo na Trinity. Search the trinity origin brother. And tell me right away kung yan ang tinuturo ng Bible. TRINITY IS FOR CATHOLIC. And if you claim to be a Christian and believe that doctrine of TRINITY. Foolishness yan.
God Bless…. I’m praying for you and your family. That JESUS will reveal to you. .
OneGod JesusChrist April 9 at 6:23pm BTW, We are not denying the FATHER… JESUS IS THE FATHER (ISAIAH 9:6)… Read the Bible bro… Don’t read other commentators. Sayang lang ang pagpapagal mo sa gawain.
Cheer up. God is One! .
Richard Marcelo April 10 at 5:06pm You are quoting verses irrespective of their context my friend. You are threading on dangerous grounds. This verse in John is referring to Jesus argument with the Jews who waits for their Messiah/Christ. Yet they wont believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Annointed one. So he said “You would die in your sins because you do not believe that I am he”.
Even to this day Jesus speaks to you from that same chapter.
“I have much to say in judgment of you. But he who sent me is reliable, and what I HAVE HEARD from HIM I tell the world. THEY DID NOT UNDERSTAND that he was telling them ABOUT HIS FATHER.” -John 8:26-27
in the same chapter also it says.
In your own Law it is written that the testimony of TWO men is valid. I am ONE who testifies for myself; my OTHER witness is the Father, who sent me. “( -John 8:16-17) If you understand why Jesus used this argument, you wouldnt have been deceived by those who taught you this false doctrine.
Peters confession says “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God -Matthew 16:16 ” and Jesus said “upon this “rock”-upon this confession of truth - I shall build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it”
And this is the rock of True Christianity -”Jesus Christ is the Son of God”. It did not say anything else.
look at John 3:16 -the most quoted verse in the bible. “God sent His Son” it says. It did not say “God the Father became a Son” but “God sent His only begotten Son” so whoever believes in Him (being the Son of God) shall not perish.
You are not far from the kingdom of God my friend. You have to get your theology straight. And read your bible carefully and understand the proper context. And get out of that cult you are in which claims to be ‘christian’ but is actually not. And find a True Christian church that confesses “Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God”. Although it seemed easy it does not depend on you and your choice. Even all these verse wouldnt convince you unless God open your eyes.
Jesus said to Peter “flesh and blood did not revealed it to you but my Heavenly Father - Matthew 16:17″ and He called him blessed in that revelation of God.
In as much I never wanted this discussion again since the last time we talked it is apparent that you keep coming back. If it is Gods will, let Him continue to give me patience with you. Perhaps He will use this to reveal His truth to you.
I want to leave you this verse for now.
Isaiah 48:16 Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me.
p.s.
You keep accusing me of denying that Jesus is God. I want you to prove it by quoting any of my words that says that or even suggest that.

OneGod JesusChrist April 10 at 5:39pm Answer me this simple question:
How many gods do you have?
Is the FATHER AND JESUS NOT THE SAME ONE GOD?
You have to answer this simple question.
You see, FATHER GOD is SPIRIT, He manifest in the FLESH and was called JESUS CHRIST. Therefore, put it into your heart : GOD IS ONE.
Are you blind? Are you deaf? Wake UP!
And please bawal ang PIKON. I commented in a proper way. Read carefully the thread. I glorified JESUS CHRIST because you used NIV in I JOHN 3:16. .
OneGod JesusChrist April 10 at 6:18pm PS: If JESUS HAS A FATHER, SO WHO IS THE MOTHER? My goodness! You have to read the Bible. Be careful in quoting the Book of Isaiah. Prophet isaiah is a ONE GOD BELIEVER.
This is what the LORD says—
Israel’s King and Redeemer, the LORD Almighty:
I am the first and I am the last;
apart from me there is no God.
Don’t CALL GOD A LIAR!!!! APART FROM HIM THERE IS NO GOD!
Answer my question: IF YOU BELIEVE THAT JESUS HAS A FATHER
So, how many gods do you have?
Father = is God
Jesus = is God
So, how many gods do u have? answer me? Bawal po ang pikon. .
OneGod JesusChrist April 10 at 6:19pm That was Isaiah 44:6 .
OneGod JesusChrist April 10 at 7:59pm I’m still waiting for your answer Mr. Richard. Prove to me that FATHER AND JESUS are not the same. And prophet ISAIAH will give you the answer in ISAIAH 44:6. If GOD IS THE ALPHA AND OMEGA AND JESUS IS THE ALPHA AND OMEGA—– i think you are in a wrong position to tell me I belong in the cult religion.
Watch your words my friend….. Check TRINITY in the BIBLE you will never find such evil word. Search ONE GOD in the Bible, your eyes will be open.
JUST be honest —- You are confuse. No worries. I understand you because I WAS A TRINITARIAN DOGMATIC BEFORE…..
God will show you the way.
Have a blessed day!
BTW: Please give me your answer Mister.
.
Richard Marcelo April 10 at 9:38pm My friend you demand so much reply without refuting my first argument. This discussion will only work properly of the issues are properly addressed and responded.
if i made the argument you should refute that first and then you present yours and I will address them properly.
so if you want to go on with this, please refute my first argument that
1. there is The Father and The Son in the Godhead as Paul states in most of his salutations(opening greeting) in his epsitles.
2. Why is Jesus called “Mediator (1 Tim 2:5)” and “High Priest (Hebrews 9 and 10)”?
Sent via Facebook Mobile .
OneGod JesusChrist April 11 at 1:44am Oooppss… first of all, you did not ask me any questions. I am not demanding to much my friend. Simple question about Godhead you are so afraid to answer it. Well, I want to correct you about your “Godhead version” that there is a “Father, Son” ooopps, Mister, what about the Holy ghost? is it part of your “Godhead version?” Any how… First of all…….
1. You don’t know the Godhead. Godhead is not 3 persons. Person means with Blood and flesh. GOD is Spirit (John 4:24). God Manifest in the Flesh ( I Timothy 3:16). YOU will never see three persons in the Bible. So don’t you ever quote me with unbiblical percepts.
Who is JESUS CHRIST? For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily” (Colossians 2:9). The fact that Jesus is God is as firmly established in Scripture as the fact that God is one. The Bible teaches that Jesus is fully God and fully man.
Isaiah 9:6 is one of the most powerful proofs that Jesus is God: “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father,The Prince of Peace.” The terms child and son refer to the Incarnation or manifestation of “The mighty God” and “The everlasting Father.”
JESUS CHRIST WILL BE CALLED THE EVERLASTING FATHER… THAT’S WHY WE ARE CALLING HIM OUR FATHER. Because John 10:30 says “I AND MY FATHER ARE ONE!”. I know Mr Richard you are not happy that JESUS CHRIST is THE EVERLASTING FATHER!
Isaiah prophesied that the Messiah would be called Immanuel, that is, God with us (Isaiah 7:14;Matthew 1:22-23). That’s why don’t you ever quote the Book of Isaiah, you will be in bad position! Because Isaiah is a One God Prophet! Isaiah described the Messiah as both a branch out of Jesse (the father of David) and as the root of Jesse (Isaiah 11:1, 10; see also Revelation 22:16). According to the flesh He was a descendant (branch) of Jesse and David, but according to His Spirit He was their Creator and source of life (root). Jesus used this concept to confound the Pharisees when He quoted Psalm 110:1 and asked, in essence, “How could David call the Messiah Lord when the Messiah was to be the son (descendant) of David?” (Matthew 22:41-46).
Isaiah 35:4-6 shows that Jesus is God: “Behold, your God . . . he will come and save you.” This passage goes on to say that when God comes the eyes of the blind would be opened, the ears of the deaf would be unstopped, the lame would leap, and the tongue of the dumb would speak. Jesus applied this passage of Scripture to Himself (Luke 7:22) and, of course, His ministry did produce all of these things.
Isaiah 40:3 declares that one would cry in the wilderness, “Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a highway for our God.” John the Baptist fulfilled this prophecy when he prepared the way for Jesus (Matthew 3:3); so Jesus is the LORD (Jehovah) and our God.
In Conclusion, JESUS CHRIST dwelleth all the fullness of the GODhead bodily! The spirit of GOD became flesh.. So how many gods do we believe? THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD.
Why are you confused about Paul’s epistle?
Ephesians 4:4-6 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
He wrote to Titus in Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Why are you confused about the beginning of his letters? You are confused because you don’t understand the scripture. If he was talking about the Father and the Son as separate being, therefore he is also a liar like you! But he is not…. He knows JESUS CHRIST more than anything else!
2 Ti 1:12-13 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. 13 Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
If you really know Jesus Christ… You will not be confused about his epistles Mister…. .
OneGod JesusChrist April 11 at 1:50am To enlighten you more about Jesus Christ, The New Testament Proclaims that Jesus Is God.. I will mentioned some of them. (Please read this with your heart open).
1. Thomas confessed Jesus as both Lord and God
(John 20:28). Jesus is both Lord and God!
2. According to Acts 20:28, the church was purchased
with God’s own blood, namely the blood of Jesus. God is spirit, you cannot put Him in the cross… HE MANIFEST IN THE FLESH!!! Because Jesus Christ is the Image of the invisible God (Colossians 1:15)
3. Paul described Jesus as “the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ” (Titus 2:13; NIV has “our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ”). PAUL Mister emphasized JESUS AS GOD AND SAVIOR… So, please don’t be confused!
4. Peter described Him as “God and our Saviour Jesus Christ” (II Peter 1:1; NIV and TAB both have “our God and Savior Jesus Christ”).
5. Our bodies are the temples of God (I Corinthians 3:16-17), yet we know Christ dwells in our hearts (Ephesians 3:17).
6. The Book of Colossians strongly emphasizes the deity of Christ. “For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily” (Colossians 2:9; see also 1:19). According to these verses of Scripture, Jesus is not just a part of God, but all of God is resident in Him. If there were several persons in the Godhead, according to
Colossians 2:9 they would all be resident in the bodily form of Jesus. We are complete in Him (Colossians 2:10).
Whatever we need from God we can find in Jesus Christ alone. We conclude that the New Testament testifies to the full deity of Jesus Christ.
I hope you understand the GODHEAD BIBLICALLY Mister Richard. .
OneGod JesusChrist April 11 at 1:58am 2. Why is Jesus called “Mediator (1 Tim 2:5)” and “High Priest (Hebrews 9 and 10)”? Wow Mister, Why did you ask the wrong question? I hope you will be enlighten Why “he was called” Mediator…
The statement that Jesus is God necessarily implies that God took on human flesh. This is in fact what the Bible says.
“God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory” (I Timothy 3:16; see verse 15 for further confirmation that God is the subject of verse 16). God was manifest (made visible) in flesh; God was justified (shown to be right) in the Spirit; God was seen of angels; God was believed on in the world; and God was received up into glory. How and when did all of this happen? In Jesus Christ.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God . . . And the Word was made flesh. . .” (John 1:1, 14). Literally, the Word (God) was tabernacled or tented in flesh. When did God tabernacle or robe Himself in flesh? In Jesus Christ. Both verses of Scripture prove that Jesus is God—that He is God manifest (revealed, made known, made evident, displayed, shown) in flesh.
God is a Spirit—without flesh and blood and invisible to man. In order to make Himself visible to man and in order to shed innocent blood for our sins, He had to put on flesh. Jesus is not another God or a part of God, but He is the God of the Old Testament robed in flesh. He is the Father; He is Jehovah who came in flesh to bridge the gap between man and God that man’s sin had created. He
put on flesh as a man puts on a coat.
Many verses of Scripture declare Jesus Christ to be the God of the Old Testament robed in flesh for the purpose of self-revelation and reconciliation. “To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling
the world unto himself” (II Corinthians 5:19).
TO WIT, That God WAS IN CHRIST, reconciling the WORLD unto himself!
Mister Richard, I hope this simple verses will open your mind!
Jesus is “the image of the invisible God” (Colossians 1:15; II Corinthians 4:4).
He is God veiled in flesh (Hebrews 10:20). As Abraham prophesied, probably without understanding the full meaning of his own words, “God will provide himself a lamb” (Genesis 22:8). God indeed provided a body for Himself: “Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest
not, but a body hast thou prepared me” (Hebrews 10:5).
Jesus was the builder of the house (God the Father and Creator) and also a son over his own house (Hebrews 3:3-6).
There never has been a mystery as to “persons” in the Godhead. The Bible clearly states that there is only one God, and this is easy for all to understand. The only mystery about the Godhead is how God could come in flesh, how Jesus could be both God and man.
But the truth of this mystery has been revealed to those who will believe. The mystery of Jesus Christ has been kept secret since the world began, but was revealed in the New Testament age (Romans 16:25-26;Colossians 1:25-27). A mystery in the New Testament
is simply a plan of God that was not understood in the Old Testament but which has been made known to us. We “may understand . . . the mystery of Christ which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit” (Ephesians 3:4-5). .
OneGod JesusChrist April 11 at 2:12am Are you sure you are questioning me about “High Priest” in Hebrews 9 and 10? this is my favorite topic about Jesus Christ Mr. Richard. I think you don’t even know or understand the book of Hebrews. Before opening or discussing the Book of Hebrews, kindly open your Bible in the book of PSALM 24:7-10
Psa 24:7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
Psa 24:8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
Psa 24:9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
Psa 24:10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.
Who is worthy to go to the EVERLASTING DOOR? IS it GOD????
Psa 118:19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD: Psa 118:20 This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.
ONLY THE RIGHTEOUS CAN ENTER… AND WHO IS THE ONLY HIGHPRIEST, Mister Richard?
Heb 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
Heb 9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
JESUS CHRIST!!!
The question is???? God is spirit, can you nail Him on the cross??? God is the TESTATOR of the New Testament…
Can you put God in the Cross my friend???? TATAGOS PO ANG MGA PAKO… So, bakit SIYA NAGKATAWANG TAO>>>>
Heb 9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. Heb 9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
Kailangang MAMATAY Kaibigan ang Gumawa ng testament para MAGANAP ANG KALIGTASAN!!!!
KAYA SI JESUS CHRIST, He is the LAMB that will take away the sins of the world!!!
SI GOD MISMO ANG NAMATAY (yung FLESH) !!!!!!!! For our redemption!!!
AND THIS IS THE REASON WHY I quoted I JOHN 3:16
1John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
Ito ang punot dulo nitong thread na ito Mr Richard.
I know you will not believe the scripture. But, My God, Once na nalaman mo na ISA LANG PALA ANG DIOS NA GUMAWA NG LAHAT NG BAGAY PARA SA ATIN, I can’t blame you to cry out loud in front of the congragation and SHOUT WITH A VOICE OF TRIUMPH na ISA LANG ANG DIOS!
God Bless Mister.
I answered your 2 questions.
it’s up to you if you will believe JESUS CHRIST or not as the One true God….
1Jn 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
God Bless. .
Richard Marcelo April 11 at 8:22am First of, you did not answer my question. You just pointed out over and over that Jesus is God which I would say AMEN!!! and which I have been saying AMEN eversince I became a christian. So I guess this will really work if you stick to my question and just address it head on.
Didnt I say “Jesus is my Lord and my God” in my first message? so stop wasting your effort on that because we dont have an issue about it. We agree on that. Secondly, I have to work today. So I might be able to read the rest of your reply after work. .
Richard Marcelo April 11 at 10:51am Because I have some free time at work. I managed to read in full your reply dated “April 11 at 2:14am”
This is a reply to that:
It is all the same, proving that that Jesus is God. I want you to know that these same verse that you are quoting I have already quoted many times to a Jehovahs Witness to prove to him that Jesus is God and not just one of the false gods or demi-gods but The One True God. So we are on the same page here and there is no need for you to convince me on that.
The argument that I raised that you need to address is how does your “ONENESS” theology fit in the salutations of Paul as he distinguished God the Father from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Just to quote one on my first message
That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, EVEN the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Rom15:6. So it would be proper to answer Why?
Why DID HE NOT say “That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, the Father, EVEN our Lord Jesus Christ.”? He did not say it that way.
HE did not say anything like “Jesus is not God” so I hope you wont say again that I deny that Jesus is God. The point is He distinguished the Father from the Son. And there are so many similar passages. Even Jesus distinguished Himself from the Father. .
Richard Marcelo April 11 at 10:54am This is in reply to your message dated “April 11 2:20am”
We are on the same page here. I have nothing to refute. .
Richard Marcelo April 11 at 11:03am Your message dated “April 11 2:28am” in which you started as if you are trying to address my argument about Christ being “Mediator” and “High Priest” is not exactly to the point. It is necessary define what the words “mediator” and “high priest” mean to properly answer my argument. Instead you went again to the same direction you were aiming. .
OneGod JesusChrist April 11 at 11:40am The Issue here my friend was that FATHER and SON to you is totally different. I am not giving you my own opinion. I’m telling you the truth that The God of the OLD TESTAMENT manifest into the Flesh in the New Testament. I gave you the biblical proof. Paul letters are not confusing. First of all, God is NOT an author of confusion. You are mislead with his letters when he is mentioning “The God and the Father of Jesus Christ.” You can’t accept that the FATHER in Heaven is the same as JESUS CHRIST.
Come on, my friend! Read the biblical verses I mentioned.
In Isaiah 44:6
6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. (Here the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is talking to Isaiah. You can’t deny that that Father God in the Old testament testify that HE IS THE FIRST AND THE LAST. HE IS THE ALPHA AND OMEGA!).
In Revelation 1:8
8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
This statement mentioned in the Book of Revelation came from the mouth of JESUS CHRIST my friend.
Are there two ALPHA’s and Omega’s? So, you mean to say, THE FATHER is the Alpha and Omega? at the same time JESUS was also the Alpha and Omega?
Wake up My friend!
I’m giving you the Biblical proof. But you don’t seem to get the message. Why? Because the doctrine of trinity is still embedded in your heart.
IF GOD THE FATHER said ” BESIDES ME THERE IS NO OTHER GOD in Isaiah 44:6, Do you think He is a liar?
Isaiah 43:10-11
10 Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
11 I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.
READ THE WORD OF GOD “BEFORE ME THERE WAS NO GOD FORMED, NEITHER (NEITHER!!!!!) THERE BE AFTER ME! Do you think God will lie to us? Is it clear that “Neither” shall be after me??? If JESUS CHRIST was there before, so you men to say there are “2″ gods in heaven? in verse 11: I EVEN, I , AM THE LORD and Beside me THERE IS NO SAVIOUR!!!!
Why Didi Paul call Him “Lord and SAVIOR?” Why do you Call JESUS CHRIST “Your Lord and SAVIOR” ARE there two Saviours? are there 2 gods?
My point is, You don’t want to understand that the FATHER and JESUS are ONE! That’s why even though I’m giving you the proof of our “APOSTOLIC Belief” you don’t even care to read and understand.
Another point that I want to clear to you. God will not give His glory to another:
Isaiah 42:8 I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.
In John 3:16, you are very much interested about this wonderful verse. Do you know that this verse is “Spiritual”. Satan will deceive you on this message. This is the favorite text of ALL THE TRINITARIANS Like you.
GOD MANIFESTED in the Flesh as “The SON” in redemption. that’s why they called Him “Begotten Son”. A blood sacrifice without sin must be made for the redemption of man.
Without shedding of blood there is no remission of sins. Heb. 9:22.
So by His plan (Word), God, the invisible Spirit, made Himself a body born of the virgin Mary, and dwelt among us. “And the Word (which was God) was made flesh, and dwelt among us…” John 1,14. (They called the begotten Son!). This body was the only begotten Son or image of God. Paul said that the Son is the image (body) of the invisible God. Col.1:13-15.
The Sonship was planned from the foundation of the world (Rev. 13: and prophesied as early as Gen. 3:15.
Hundreds of years later Isaiah prophesied,” …Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call His name Immanuel…which being interpreted is, GOD WITH US.” Is. 7:14; Matt. 1:23.
IMMANUEL means “GOD IS WITH US!!!” Is it another GOD, Richard? NO! NO! NO! The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob came into FLESH!
To Joseph the angel said, “…thou shall call His name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sin.. and he called His name JESUS.” Matt. 1:21-25.
JESUS Came on “HIS FATHER’s name John 5:43 “I AM come in my father’s name!” What is the name of the Father? Richard, FATHER IS NOT A NAME (It is a Title!).
You see, The God that we are worshiping is Not a Liar!
Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
Now, a simple analogy Mr. Richard. For example, you love your company to much. You are giving your time and your effort. Now, if something happens like a big tragedy. Is it prudent that YOU WILL send your “Son” for them to save them? Come on, why do you sacrifice “Another” person if YOU REALLY LOVE your company….
This is the answer to your question about John 3:16 my friend. Many people doesn’t know about the PLAN of God. They thought there were “2″ gods in heavens.
So, again… even though you are telling me that “Im wasting my effort about my belief that Jesus Christ is my Lord and savior…” Read again the answer of your JOHN 3:16 to I JOHN 3:16
GOD GAVE HIMSELF FOR US!!!!
Amen! .
OneGod JesusChrist April 11 at 11:53am PS. Please read the word of God. I am organizing your thoughts and prove to you that THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD. THE FATHER in Creation, the Son in redemption and the Holy Ghost in regeneration. These 3 manifestations are ONE. ONLY ONE GOD!
The Lord God is the Creator. Is. 42:5.
The Lord Jesus is the Creator. John 1:3, 10.
The Lord God said, “I am He.” Is. 43:10.
The Lord Jesus said, “I am He.” John 8:24.
The Lord God is the only Saviour. Is. 43:10, 11.
The Lord Jesus is the Saviour. Titus 1:4.
The Lord God shall reign forever. P5. 146:10.
The Lord Jesus reign forever. Luke 1 :33.
The Lord God is the King of Israel. Is. 43:15.
The Lord Jesus is the King of Israel. Matt. 27:37.
The Lord God is the First and the Last. Is. 44:6.
The Lord Jesus is the First and the Last. Rev. 1:8.
The Lord God is Almighty. Gen. 17:1.
The Lord Jesus is Almighty. Rev. 1:8.
The God of the Old testament is the same God of the NEW testament. There is only ONE TRUE GOD, Richard!
God Bless you! .
OneGod JesusChrist April 11 at 12:07pm The argument that I raised that you need to address is how does your “ONENESS” theology fit in the salutations of Paul as he distinguished God the Father from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Well, Richard you are not getting my point here. Paul statement about the “distinction” is not an Issue. Paul is a One God apostle! gave you the verses. The reason why you are confuse because you did not accept Him as “Oneness in Godhead”. The Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians even the Colossians are already “converted” and had no issues about it. But, why are you so confused?
So, there is something wrong Richard. Now, examine yourself. If there is FATHER and the Son is different, how many gods do you believe?
Now, tell me straight my friend…..
If FATHER GOD is GOD and JESUS as a Son is God, How many gods do you have?
Now PAUL will give you answer to that:
1Co 8:4 As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
1Co 8:5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
1Co 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.
BUT TO US ( THE ONENESS you are telling) THERE IS BUT ONE GOD, THE FATHER “OF WHOM ARE ALL THINGS AND WE IN HIM”
Do you think GOD AND LORD are seperate distinction? Because you said that JESUS CHRIST is Both LORD AND GOD (Like Thomas said).
BUT PAUL SAID THERE IS BUT ONE GOD!
Richard, only by FAITH you will understand the Godhead my friend.
Wala kayong pagkaiba sa Saksi ni Jehovah and the Dating daan group. They have 2 gods. The Father is different from the Son.
Wake up My friend! .
OneGod JesusChrist April 11 at 12:12pm Now, clear your thoughts. I am asking you this question: Give me your answer my friend.
If GOD THE FATHER is GOD
If JESUS CHRIST AS SON is GOD
How many gods do you have, Richard? .
Richard Marcelo April 11 at 2:23pm You are not answering my question. I can throw in as many verses from the OT and the NT that the ONE God -Father, Son and the Holy Spirit are specifically mentioned and present and actively participated in Creation, Redemption etc. But i want you to answer me first (in regard to Pauls letters) before this discussion goes heywire.
Did not the God say “Let US (it says US) make man in our own image”(Gen 1:26)? Yet there is only one God. Did not Christ say “I and the Father are one”. Yet He also said “if anyone loves me he will obey my teaching, my Father will love him and WE will come to him and make OUR home with him” (John 14:23)
You said “only by FAITH you will understand”. But why are you using mathematics trying to add up that the Trinitarian doctrine believe in three Gods? The doctrine of the Trinity is monotheist if you truly understand it.
Sent via Facebook Mobile .
OneGod JesusChrist April 11 at 4:33pm What in the world you are saying -Father, Son and the Holy Spirit are specifically mentioned and present and actively participated in Creation, Redemption etc. MY GOODNESS! You are out of your mind!
I am not answering your question???? After all these Biblical verses? Are you Blind?
Oh well….. read your Bible my friend! You are not the one answering my question. TRINITY is Monotheist???? Come on!!!! Are you crazy? Review your TRINITY Doctrine my friend! I think you don’t know what you are saying!
You are just trying to stay away with my question! Because YOU DON”T KNOW THE ANSWER!
I don’t want to waste my time with your stupidity in the word of God.
“LET US” in Genesis 1:26, Did Moses wrote that JESUS was with the Father? Come on! What Book are you referring with?
read the next verse my friend, 27: Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
IN HIS OWN? Is it PLURAL? It should have been “IN THEIR OWN” Mr. Richard. You know the grammar in ENGLISH. IS, ARE, WE US….
But you fail to read 27: GOD CREATED IN HIS OWN IMAGE!!!!!
Malachi 2:10 Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our fathers?
Check your bible Richard! Tell me if they are 3 during the creation!
Check your DOCTRINE TRINITY…… “TRI” in “UNITY” “3″ gods in “ONE”…
Come on! Don’t be stupid enough to understand why is there TRINITY or TRIUNE because it composed of Three persons! .
OneGod JesusChrist April 11 at 4:48pm Google “TRINITY” its origin and belief. You have the access in the internet my friend! tell me about Athenesian Creed (Nicea) 325 AD. tell me about the foundation of Trinity. And tell me the roots of trinity. Don’t lie to me, Richard! before throwing some bible verses BE SURE you know what you are talking about….
You are BARKING IN A WRONG TREE my friend!
Just to give you a review about your FAITH TRINITY which is being taught in Bible School.
“Whoever will be saved: before all things it is necessary that he hold the Catholic Faith. Which Faith except everyone do keep whole and undefiled: without doubt he will perish everlastingly. And The Catholic Faith is this: that we worship one God in Trinity, and Trinity in Unity. Neither confounding the Persons: nor dividing the Substance. For there is one Person of the Father, another of the Son, another of the Holy Ghost. But the Godhead of the Father, of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, is all one:
Tell me straight, is this familiar to you? Richard? YOU ARE A CATHOLIC MY FRIEND!!!!
Ask your previous priest if what doctrine they have in Catholic church… HE will give you the same belief you are trying to convey!
Tsk tsk tsk….. Sayang ang talino mo kaibigan…..
God, in His wisdom, knew that there would be polytheists like trinitarians and the like. To nip the matter “in the bud” for anyone who has any sincerity, he declared that the first of ALL the commandments was to know that he was only one person (God). I guess he knew that evil men would take advantage of His multiple, omnipresent abilities in their efforts of deception.
Mark 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments [is], Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
Then Jehovah God spoke to clearly declare that He was ONE, with no one beside him
Isaiah 43:11 I, [even] I, [am] the LORD; and beside me [there is] no saviour.
Now if there were other “trinto-junior person” here, why would Jehovah claim to be the only SAVIOUR?
Isaiah 45:21 Tell ye, and bring [them] near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? [who] hath told it from that time? [have] not I the LORD? and [there is] no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; [there is] none beside me.
Hosea 13:4 Yet I [am] the LORD thy God from the land of Egypt, and thou shalt know no god but me: for [there is] no saviour beside me.
It is extremely important to God that He be worshipped and not a counterfeit created by the devil. Notice that even in the new testament there is a warning that describes trinitarianism exactly.
Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
Colossians 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
Colossians 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
Then another verse leads us to the crux of the matter, which is why no trinitarian will be saved. They have manufactured an idol god, a three headed monstrosity that does not at all exist in reality, they are believing in a manufactured, junior, “second person” of a three headed idol.
Jeremiah 16:20 Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they [are] no gods?
They are “no gods”. The “three persons” of the trinity theory do not exist. Now, there may very well be Spirits behind the idol that are accepting the worship directed towards the trinity, which may explain the whooo woooo in the false churches that some mistake for God. But “they are no gods”, because they are gods that man made up.
I Corinthians 8:4 As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol [is] nothing in the world, and that [there is] none other God but one.
I Corinthians 8:5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
Some might ask why, with all these verses will men still follow after idol gods, and slander those who are trying to help them? Well….*
I Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.
And so the deceived will ignore all the above verses and look at some verse that they don’t understand and go “Duh, well that looks like more than one god (person) to me.” and their false preachers will soothe them back to sleep with YAL (Yet Another Lie)…
God Bless!! .
OneGod JesusChrist April 11 at 4:57pm This will make you happy about your faith “TRINITY” Don’t tell me that this will not make you happy!
This is your belief.
TRINITY Doctrine.
I can give you millions of photos if you want to make you happy about your TRINITY Doctrine.
By the way, Jesus reminds you like what he said to Philip in John 14:8-11
Joh 14:8 Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.
Joh 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
Joh 14:10 Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Joh 14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.
So, can I call you Mister Richard Philip?
Joh 14:9 Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Richard? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father?
God Bless.
Cheer up. We love you Friend

You are the one who keeps avoiding my question and is always going to the 1god + 1god argument.
since you cannot stick by it lets have it your way.
you posted:
“LET US” in Genesis 1:26, Did Moses wrote that JESUS was with the Father? Come on! What Book are you referring with?
read the next verse my friend, 27: Gen 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
MY REPLY: well, verse 27 does not eliminate verse 26 when God speaks to Himself in plural form. at least in the trinitarian doctrine it does not eliminate a verse at the expense of the other. I can say God is one, verse 26 (which used WE/US and OUR) will not contradict verse 27 when it is said HE. In the trinitarian doctrine God can speak to Himself and it will not sound weird that He is talking to Himself. Jesus prayed to the Father and there really is a Father. Jesus said He is one with the Father and He really is. Of course your logic will fail to understand this but even accepting that Jesus is 100% God and at the same time 100% man is logically impossible but we both accept it because it is proven in the scriptures.
lets look more at irreconcilable verses to your oneness doctrine
8No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. -John 1:18
If oneness theology is right how can the Son be at the bosom of the Father?
Lets look at this one: John 17
21that all of THEM MAYBE ONE, Father, JUST AS YOU ARE IN ME AND I IN YOU. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22I have given them the glory that you gave me, THAT THEY MAYBE ONE AS WE ARE ONE: 23I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
Does your oneness theology fit the way Jesus describe His oneness with the Father in this prayer? Well if you take this oneness literally, If that is the case and if you are right. Then Jesus also meant one day YOU AND YOUR BROTHER who taught you this false doctrine (or all of your church-mates) WILL BE ONE like you are inside him and he is inside you. Because that is how you define the oneness of the Father and the Son right? If Jesus and the Father is the same single person in two different modes Jesus meant in his prayer that Chris and Anjo will be one and the same person in two different modes, sigurong ibang mode sa umaga, ibang mode sa tanghali. Pero isa lang sila.
Well you are encourage to take it by faith so suit yourself.
And look at those words “and have loved them even as you have loved me.”-verse 23 . would you say that to yourself?
“Chris, I have loved you and I love them as I love you”
I know God can say that to Himself because He is not lonely let alone crazy.
Ang dami mong (!!!) tinatawag sa akin but you keep saying “bawal ang pikon”. I just call you my friend eversince this begun. .
Richard Marcelo April 11 at 11:33pm You quoted a similar verse which I have quoted earlier Im not saying youre a copycat -no offense but i think thats a good common ground we can look at:
6yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live. -1 Cor 8:6
Is there a distinction here between God the Father and Lord Jesus Christ?
Yes there is, one is FROM WHOM ALL THINGS CAME AND FOR WHOM WE LIVE
The other says THROUGH WHOM ALL THINGS CAME AND THROUGH WHOM WE LIVE.
If there is no distinction this would not have been written. Oneness theology whould have to erase it from the bible. Trinitarian theology can embrace it by faith. .
Richard Marcelo April 11 at 11:48pm You mentioned some passages in Revelations lets quote some from it- this is exciting
The Scroll and the Lamb (Revelations 5:1-8)
1Then I saw in the RIGHT HAND OF HIM WHO SAT ON THE THRONE A SCROLL with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals. 2And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, “Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?” 3But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it. 4I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside. 5Then one of the elders said to me, “Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.”
6Then I saw a LAMB, looking as if it had been slain, standing in the center of the throne, encircled by the four living creatures and the elders. He had seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits[a] of God sent out into all the earth. 7HE(the Lamb) CAME AND TOOK THE SCROLL FROM THE RIGHT HAND OF HIM WHO SAT ON THE THRONE. 8And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.
You are right the Lamb is worshiped in heaven. But apparently someone sits on the throne in heaven and the Lamb took the scroll from His hand. If your oneness theology is applied here, i.e. God and the Lamb is the same, I dont know who you would explain it away to a new convert without raising his eyebrow.
Lets look at another verse from Revelation
Rev 22
1Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God AND OF the Lamb 2down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3No longer will there be any curse. THE THRONE OF GOD AND OF THE LAMB will be in the city, and his servants will serve him.
I just wanted to emphasize the distinction here between the Lamb and God. .
Richard Marcelo April 12 at 12:21am Luke 9:35
And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.
How can you deny the inter-personal relationship between the Father and the Son?
The Father said this is my “Beloved Son”, Jesus said “You have loved me Father” (John 17:23 paraphrased)
How can you buy into these lies? .
Richard Marcelo April 12 at 12:31am Trinitarian doctrine does not worship “gods” but one God according to your quote.
Matthew 28:19
19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the NAME of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
Noticed that Jesus said NAME and not NAMES, because it is the oneness of the trinity. The singularity of three.
Isaiah 48:16 (King James Version)
16Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me.
-Here in Isaiah, The LORD is speaking earlier in the first person, then all of a sudden He refered to the Lord God as another person along with the Spirit of the Lord to have sent Him
1 John 5:7 (King James Version)
7For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one
That is how the Trinity is reconciled not by human logic but by the word of God. How can three be one? I dont know. But God said so. So I believe in the Father, Whom Jesus acknowledged all throughout His life and I believe in the Son Jesus Himself, whom the Father acknowledged and called beloved (Luke 9:35, Luke 3:22) and the Holy Spirit who intercedes for us just as Jesus intercedes for us.
And Jesus called them by one NAME though they are three, they are one.
Perhaps it would be easier for you to believe in Allah, because they do believe in strict monotheism. But the one true God is not the same as islamic God.
And if you truly know Him you wont be frustrated this much at all. I do know Him and I believe if you truly know Him you wouldnt believe for a second that you can convert people but only God can. Maybe this is one of His purpose why you keep coming back to my page. He wants to shine His light on you because you were in darkness.
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. -1 John 2:22
Your modalism will qualify you to be an anti-christ because you cannot eliminate one to regard the other. The trinitarian faith can embrace it without being polytheist.
I would say Amen there is only ONE God. .
OneGod JesusChrist April 12 at 1:59am Well, Richard All those verses contradict your statements. If your last statement says “I would say Amen there is only ONE God”, Now, I will bring you back the question.
if the FATHER is GOD and the Son is God….. How many gods will I count?
The God and the lamb for you is different.
The father and the Son is different.
Sorry, I’m not convince that you believe in ONE GOD doctrine.
“That is how the Trinity is reconciled not by human logic but by the word of God. How can three be one? I dont know….”
Thisements will always be unknown to you….
this conversation will be uploaded in our forum.
Thank you for your effort.
God Bless. .
OneGod JesusChrist April 12 at 2:10am i know deep in your heart you believe that The Father is also the Son. I had a vision to you and to your family. Ask your wife about her stand. She knows that the Father and Jesus are ONE. You are still invited in our Church (time will come for you to understand the Godhead). Don’t stop reading the word of God.
Again, as a piece of advise, READ the DOCTRINE OF TRINITY Again and Again. you can’t deny the fact that it was the doctrine of the Catholic.
I can answer all your querries regarding your verses even in the Revelation, But your eyes are already blinded by the god of this world. You will never find the answer my friend. I was upset when you say “YOU DON”T KNOW WHY THREE BECAME ONE”.. I was upset my friend… That means You don’t know who is the REAL God..
Sorry, But in this discussion you fail to realize the ONE TRUE GOD….. BTW, WE DID NOT DENY THE FATHER AND SON… WE KNOW THAT THE FATHER IN HEAVEN WHICH IS SPIRIT AND THE SON WHICH IS IN FLESH ARE ONE….
THE ANTI CHRIST ARE THOSE PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT THE FATHER AND THE SON ARE DIFFERENT DISTINCTION…
Sorry but i will not buy your opinions and belief. .
OneGod JesusChrist April 12 at 2:14am To end up this conversation. Tell me straight:
There are Two Gods in heaven? Just say YES OR NO. .
OneGod JesusChrist April 12 at 4:06am I posted our conversation in our GCM forum just to see how you interpret the bible. So, my brothers are waiting for your answer. I am also excited on what you’re going to answer in my question.
Analogy:
The God (father) is sitting on the throne and Jesus is in His right hand.
The Lamb and the God in revelation are not the same.
Jesus is NOT the father.
Jesus Prayed to the father
So, tell me your answer (We are waiting for your final answer).
How many gods do you have? answer 1 or 2. (I don’t need your explanation)
Are there 2 gods in the Bible? juest answer YES or No (I don’t need more explanation).
So be it .:) .
Richard Marcelo April 12 at 9:14am I see, I just request that you re-post my replies in all its entirety -without omitting and editing so your members will also benefit from our discussion. I believe it is THE moral thing to do.

OneGod JesusChrist April 12 at 1:37pm Hahaha.. Come on, Richard! We are God fearing Christians my friend. We are NOT omitting neither editing anything in our conversation. Why are you so afraid dear? kakatawa ka naman. Siguro gawain mo ang mag copy paste and then revising your statements. (Hahaha)
Just like your Jehovah’s witness friend.
Ok, wag na tayong paligoyligoy pa. Be a REAL MAN, Richard. We are excited on how you answer our questions. By this time, ma re-reveal kung sino talaga si Richard Marcelo at ano ang faith niya.
Again, I want to reiterate those questions:
1. How many gods do you have? JUST ANSWER 1 or 2. We don’t need your propaganda and reasoning. I just want to see your Final answer. (Siguro naman alam mong mag follow ng instructions).
2. If you claimed that the Father God is different from the Son, so, are there 2 gods in the Bible or in the Book of Revelation (eg. The God and the Lamb)? YES or No.
Don’t give explanation . Gasgas na ang mga reasoning mo. I gave you all the link that I made. I don’t want to waste my time sa mga Nagbubulag-bulagan. Just answer those questions above para makikita namin ang sagot mo.
Let be YES be YES, Let be No be No.
Wag kang magsabing “Mystery” na “I don’t know reasoning”
I will end up with this verses in the bible (Para wag mong sabihing “I don’t know” Kasi nakakahiya na sabihin mong Hindi mo alam paano naging 3 in 1….Nakakatawa kasi ang mga statements mo. Baka sabihin mong “mystery” ang Godhead).
So, para di ka mapahiya eto na ang “hint” ko sa iyo. Read it.
Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
“EVEN HIS ETERNAL POWER AND GODHEAD ay Clearly seen na sa amin nina Paul (except siyempre sa inyong mga trinitarians). So, Don’t give your excuse.
Sorry, You are professing to be wise, But because of your reasoning (man-made doctrine) you became fools.
PLEASE I’m begging you!!!! Read The history and belief of Trinity (Na ginawa after 325 AD) na hindi tinuro ng mga apostles. Okay po ba?
SO, wag mong kalimutan ang question namin ha? Para wag kang magpalusot.
Peace My friend…….
.
Richard Marcelo April 12 at 2:12pm Uy, salamat God-fearing ka.
I hope you read your bible and stop doing the math. I also hope na makatulog ka. I also pray na sana one day makita kita sa isang totoong christian na nag profess na “Jesus Christ is the Son of God”
Gusto mo malaman sagot ko? Basahin mo ulit lahat ng arguments ko at lahat ng tanong ko na DI MO NASAGOT. And keep praying for Gods revelation of truth to you. Kasi meron syang promise:
You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. -Jeremiah 29:13
Bow.
If there is a God…
If somebody asks me, “How can a good God, allow evil?” or “If there is a god, how can he allow bad things happen to good people?” In the aftermath of Ondoy and the series of earthquakes in the Pacific region where a lot of people (good and bad) have lost their lives ad properties, I can imagine skeptics coming up with these age-old questions.
I guess I would have no reasonable statement to convince any skeptic. But I can point out an example where evil, as we may consider it, was employed by God to carry out His divine plan. And it can be found in the main tenet of Christianity – the Gospel.
Jesus Christ lived a just and holy life, he lived among sinners but he didn’t live like them. By all standards, whether Gods’ or mans’ he is considered ‘good’. But towards the end of His life he suffered a horrific punishment in the hands of evil men. In the time of His prosecution, Pontius Pilate, the Roman governor asked the people which man would they have him released : Jesus (the good man) or Barabas (a notorious criminal)? On a smaller picture Jesus suffered in in the place of a wicked man, as Peter said:
“For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit; 1 Peter 3:18”
Some would call it ‘preposterous’, I would agree since I cannot find a better word. But God use it to restore mankind to His original plan. And that is “to live in eternal fellowship with Him in perfect peace and joy”. He gave His son to die for all mankind so whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). As I said on a smaller picture earlier, Barabas symbolizes sinful mankind being set free from the punishment that he deserves through the death of Christ. In the present life he was spared from the punishment without realizing that God is painting a picture out of him being released. One of my favorite verses said Paul:
“He made Him (Jesus) who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. 2 Cor 5:21”
If God resorted to this unimaginable act of sacrifice I can conclude He resorted to this because there’s no other way. If I am wrong about this I can also conclude, He did this to prove His love for us. It makes me ask Him every now and then “Why do you love me?”
For the followers of Jesus Christ, they were shocked when they saw Him dying in a very shameful way. They cannot make any sense out of it. They were probably asking “How can it be?”, “He is suppose to be our King”, “He is suppose to establish the Kingdom of Israel as in the glory days of King David”. “How can God allow this tragic thing to happen?” They understood everything after HE ROSE FROM THE DEAD. We never had that dilemma since we grew up knowing this and it did not happen before our eyes. Although I knew that since childhood I never understood, or rather I would say I never believed it, because if I had believed it I wouldn’t have lived for myself for 27 years. I would have lived for Jesus Christ right from the start. And I guess that’s another example for the problem of evil. I was evil, I was living in darkness and Jesus, who calls Himself ‘the light of the world’, (John 8:12) came to me. I would say God allowed me to live in darkness so I can see the light and turn from darkness to light. I would have written more but I guess that’s enough for now.
If somebody asks me “if there is a God how can he allow bad things to good people?” I would say “I don’t know, but can I tell you about Jesus Christ?”
Broken and Restored
Yesterday me and my family attended church. I remember praying with my wife in the morning, “Lord, prepare our hearts today that we may welcome you in our hearts as we worship you with the congregation”. I didn’t realize nothing could prepare my heart for what would happen that day for God chose not to.
A few days earlier, I was on my knees, saying “I’m sorry Lord, I have failed you. I have sinned against you.”
I asked Him “Is it possible that I will never ever sin again until the day I die or until the day you come?” as if I never knew the answer. I was repentant but I felt that it is not enough. I felt that true repentance can only come form Him. I felt I want God to deal with me personally over my sin. I wanted to be right with God but I felt desperate that there’s nothing I can do. I couldn’t even forgive myself.
The reason behind this I believe is that I was so complacent for the past few weeks that when sin presented itself I thought I could touch it without being burned. Just like what Eve thought,
“maybe I can come near this tree, I just want to have a look at it, I don’t have to touch it”.
Not knowing that the tempter has been waiting there all along. The fact is, that is how sin always presents itself. It presents itself harmless and innocent that if the person dared for a moment to come close, he is entangled with it even before he knew it.
After that fall, I felt the constant battle within me. I felt the crushing blow of sin against my fellowship with God. I felt the peace slowly departing. At the same time I was crying to God for help.
I felt loosing the touch and the intimacy of God. We had a bible study that Thursday night, and we prayed for forgiveness of sins. It didn’t seem to help. The following morning-which is yesterday, we went to church. I felt half sincere and guilty. I thought about the people worshipping, and I said,
“I have no right to speak, I’m a sinner, lost and full of shame.”
As the people sang, I uttered a small prayer in my mind “Lord, just one word, restore me”. After another song I prayed again “Lord break me, lead me to repentance”
I felt the hopelessness of King David as he wrote “my sin is ever before me” in psalm 51. Actually my heart is tainted with doubt and unbelief at the same time I was telling myself “this wont work, Im a sinner” theres no hope for me”.
As the Pastor concludes his message from Genesis 3 (the fall), I felt this overwhelming presence. A strong feeling of guilt over my sins enveloped me. I was standing on the side aisle to hush my son David, as the Pastor who was teary-eyed himself said
“this is what God tells you, I paid for that on the cross, lay it down before the cross, I will take it away” my eyes felt heavy as I tried to contain the tears. I bowed down pretending to meditate on his words. I couldn’t help the tears flowing. I sat down and gave the baby to my wife, still trying to hide the overwhelming emotion that comes from a guilty heart of a son being embraced by a forgiving Father. The pastor continues the very words that God wanted me to hear ,
“And if you are afraid that you would fall again, stay close to me, if your afraid about anything stay close to me, if you’re worried about your work, spend it with me, I have forgiven you”.
I sobbed profusely trying to contain all the sounds, fighting back the tears. I knew there are people behind that probably see me. But there’s nothing I can do to hide. 3 things I asked of Him in prayer, only 2 of them He answered. I asked that He prepares my heart, He didn’t and I am thankful that he didn’t prepare me for that. I asked that He break my heart to repentance, his love for me made me realize my brokenness. He didn’t break me by saying “you are a sinner” he break me by saying “I love you”. I asked him for one word. He spoke to me every word I needed to hear. Even now as I remember it, I am a man and a Father, but I wept like a boy before my heavenly Father who loves me.
Atheism, Feminism and the Bible
Ravi Zacahrias is one of the well known apologist of our time. Listen to this very interesting response
the stage
the stage is the center of the universe
the best and worst place on earth
the stage can make you or break
the stage is the single most desirable spot
one must run from it as far as one can
if one is unworthy to go up
one must vanish from its presence
the stage is where people like me belong
the stage is my throne
i will declare all my nonsense and humiliate myself there
i want to be on the stage
because on that evening
that very moment i am meant to be up there
if i know i would die there i would still gladly go
because on that evening
that very moment i am meant to be up there
i know i would survive the stage
if i was born to go up there it would be tragic
but i was born to go up there to go down alive
i was born to live for this moment
i can only look at it this way
after 3 years i will go up a stage again to perform for an hour- a full concert program. i never thought i would dare to do this again at least going up there. the last time i was alone. it was a rough start but it went well afterwards. the last time i played i wasnt a christian yet. i went there all by myself. for the longest time there are things in my life i cannot make much sense of. if there is one reason i am doing this… it is the same reason i do everything else.
